1️⃣ Talk to the Recruiter in Freeport, southwest of the coach, under the tent. He sends you to Ozma Da Basher (although your quest log will show no quest).
2️⃣ Go to Ozma Da Basher, Oggok Gate (S) [five minute run directly west from Kerplunk]. When he says he can kill you without trying, believe him — he will deathtouch you if you don't.
3️⃣ Retrieve two Summoner's Wands from Froglok Slayers/Inquisitors in Burial Mounds (SW), near the river. Easy drop — you can acquire both in about an hour's worth of farming.
4️⃣ Return to Ozma Da Basher.
5️⃣ Kill Treants in Guardian Forest (SW) to retrieve two Enchanted Treant Branches. They are located both atop a hill with a stonehenge in the center AND on the hill northeast of that one. This camp used to be very complicated to spawn, but since the Class Balancing update, they've fixed it.
NOTE: To stop the treants from occasionally despawning, kill the Treant Prisoner before he reaches the top of the NE hill. Keep him fresh.
6️⃣ You are now sent to Lavastorm to farm Fire Basilisks for three kinds of ores: Smoldering Bedrock, Mesothermal Platinum, and Epithermal Gold. See note below in number 7.
7️⃣ Once you find them, you are instructed to fuse the ores by dropping them into a special lava location — Lavastorm (C), close to the edge where the landscape dips slightly downward. You will receive a popup here, triggering named millipedes. As you kill them, they eventually return to the lava as progressively harder ones spawn. Eventually, the Megametamilipizon spawns, dropping 4 NTL items.
Note: If you haven't started this quest yet, but are lucky enough to loot a drop from the Megametamilipizon, it is possible to only complete steps 1–5 of this quest. With the Megametamilipizon drop, you can return to your quest NPC and complete the quest without ever farming for the lava drops. The lava drops are only to spawn the Mega.
🎉 You receive 20 Mil XP after handing in the items.
1️⃣ Talk to Ozmo the Basher to log the quest. He sends you to Tak'Xiv (C) to farm Desert Marauders for four sashes. These mobs have huge aggro and hit hard (high AC) — be careful pulling or you'll get adds.
2️⃣ Ozmo sends you to Neriak (S), just west of the coachman, to Tilvyis. Tilvyis sends you to Vastly Deep (E) to farm Enchanting Sirens for a key that will let you loot from their chest a Breastplate of Superiority. Sirens mana tap. Easiest way to pull: tank pulls one, mage pet taunts off, tank swims away to get next one while group kills. Sirens don't hit hard, so this is the simplest way to protect mana and keep pull rate up (way to go Prestosifto!). Have good AR.
3️⃣ Then go to Great Waste (N) and farm Taksehir Crystal Runners for Leggings of Superiority.
4️⃣ Go back to Tilvyis and hand them in. He'll send you to get Boots of Excellence from any of the TFG camps and ONE Ghostly Goo from Centaur Valley undead camps.
5️⃣ Hand those in to Tilvyis. Now he asks you for Gloves of Power and Protection. Farm any of the Animated Lava camps in Lavastorm Mountains (SE).
6️⃣ Take a group with you when you return to Tilvyis. After you turn in your gloves, you will have to fight him. He will start hitting before you've even finished reading the popups. He hits hard, but is easy with just a group. He respawns — talk to him (he's actually quite funny). You receive a Level 65 Breastplate of Superiority — 420 AC, STA 40, HP 100+.
7️⃣ Go to Ozmo the Basher, then back to Tilvyis. Talk to him and he sends you to rid Qeynos of a Sea Serpent eating all the Neriak spies. Bring a large force for this. Graal the Leviathan spawns in Qeynos (NW). He can port between water and land — if you don't kill him fast enough and he ports, he heals. You can bind him to either element with a rune farmed from EG. He drops four NTL scales (Good Melees need this drop as well).
NOTE: You can bind him to either element with a Rune of Earth or Rune of Tide. Rune of Earth binds Graal to land and can be farmed at EG. Rune of Tide binds Graal to the sea and can be farmed at any of the new Siren camps. Graal is weak against disease spells, and for resists: PR.
🎉 Turn in the scale to Tilvyis for 24 Mil XP and 10k tunar.
1️⃣ Speak to Ty'lvis after completing Epic-Sode 2.
2️⃣ He sends you to investigate what is terrorizing the Elves of Tethelin.
3️⃣ Go north until you are in Fayspire Gate (C). You will see a circle of bluish ice. Walk up to it to get the first popup and then step into the bluish ice to get the popup to spawn the mob. Ravenous Bear CONs red
to a 60 and is easily killed with 2 groups.
4️⃣ Head to Tethelin and run to the only mob that is "White Faced," Gelledyn, and you will get a pop-up about Vampires.
5️⃣ Return to Ty'lvis. He sends you to Greyvax Caves (NW) — the actual caves. Bring an army for this — preferably petters because the final mobs are extremely hard to MT.
6️⃣ You must get the blood of Randarith, Raldarith, and a journal from Quil'Eyne. Randarith hits hard but has very low defense and dies fast. Raldarith has immense HP/AC/Resists — almost all abilities will do 0 damage, but not too hard to MT. Randarith and Raldarith both drop 8 bloods, needed by both archetypes.
7️⃣ Quil'Eyne is extremely hard — with a 2000 hit quad, 2000 nuke, 2000 critical, 2000 damage (looks like taunt) spell, and a small proc — he is very hard to MT. You can either use pets to zerg him or MT him. CS has found it much easier to just tank him (a little more effort to set up, but eliminates all deaths from zerging). Just ensure you have enough patchers to cover the damage he puts out and get the necessary debuffs on him. Ensure he stays below in the basement (even one side room has a defender in the basement — be careful). If your peeps are casting from the ramp and don't manage their aggro well, QE will aggro up the ramp, then you're at risk of adding the Defender/Protector which spawns at the top of the ramp. Once that guy gets involved you will be camped, die on the rez, and have to run back. Kill him and loot the BLOOD (Quil'Eyne will drop 4 bloods and 4 journals. The journals are for evil tanks and bloods for good melees).
8️⃣ Return to Ty'lvis and hand in items. You receive 100 Mil experience. He sends you to Sho-Ton Monastery (run NE from Hatespike), outside Moradhim, to speak to Epidopolous who stands beside the lake. He will ask if you are ready to have your masteries and training points reset. Then you will choose between the 3 abilities. He is very specific about your abilities and the descriptions to help you choose.
